Any reason why my trade with Raleigh was invalidated. Pick 146 for 175. Is it because I would have 3 picks in the 11th round?
It's because one party moving up 30 spots and giving up nothing in return isn't consistent with balance. I'm pretty much "anything goes" as far as trades, and I've found justifications for trades others thought were unfair many, many times. This just jumped out at me as wrong, I can't see any reason here.
Something like 10-16 for 11-2, even straight up, I understand. It's not clear which pick is more valuable.
And, no, for all I care, you can have 8 picks in the 11th round. That would actually be pretty entertaining.
