Boozer has missed 21 straight games because of a strained quad tendon he sustained during a game against Milwaukee on Nov. 19.
The Jazz said in a statement Tuesday that a date for the surgery has not been set, but doctors said it likely wouldn't occur until Jan. 9. Boozer, who had been averaging 20.5 points and 11.7 rebounds, will continue rehabilitation until then.
The Jazz face the Lakers in Los Angeles on Friday.
Nothing but injuries, bad karma and untimely suckitude...
In 6 seasons with the Brocheese he sat out the only championship the team ever won and last year cost us the second with a historic sub .600 choke job.
What'd I beat you by in last year's chip? 40? I don't think you can pin all that on Boozer. But karma is a bitch (for him, not for you... well, for you too).
