KFBA - Revolutionizing Fantasy Basketball

Would there be interest if we opened a new league sans Keepers?
It would be like have a new league every year...
GMs from the B-League banded together, started a movement and managed to get the league filled and ready to flow.

From the Onion...
NEW YORK—Following the Knicks' surprising 4-2 start, fans' instinctual boos have been interrupted by what many are referring to as "a strange, repeated bringing-together motion of the hands," an act resulting in an uplifting sound that can be used to respond to successful plays by the team.
"It seems to be really effective when a lot of people do it at the same time," said fan Adam Blake, 32, whose face has recently begun to contort in such a way that his mouth curls upwards at the corners, often exposing the fronts of his teeth. "It's a lot less natural for me than yelling at players and coaches, but unlike throwing garbage on the court, the security guards say you're allowed to do it. I guess if I had to choose between the old way and this new hand-slapping thing, I'd pick hand-slapping. It seems to be making the players, and me, feel kind of—I don't know—good." Upon returning home, fans were shocked to learn that emotional connections could be made with friends and family by not making sarcastic comments about their weight and intelligence and instead wrapping their arms around each other and pressing their bodies close together.
I would like to submit that it might be fun to establich two new leagues with different rules.
First - I would like to GM a new franchise league. Same old discussion we have had before. Each team could choose one player at the end of the year to keep for next year without giving up any pick. This would be in addition to the regular keepers. I am also toying with the idea of having a mandatory number of keepers (say four or five) in conjunction maybe make the keeper pick one more than this years draft instead of two.
Second - I like the idea Brohma brought up of a no-keeper league....one year at a time.
What do we need to do to get it started?
Ok so I traded Mags for a Forward now I need a solid Guard for my team. Looking to trade one of my Centers and a Guard in a two for one deal. My team is Greenwich. I have Chandler, Horford, Anderson at Center and Salmons, Pietrus and Foye available as guards.
Excitement building in the offices of zzRay Inc., as all but one of zz's teams opened the season with a victory. Especially sweet was the blowout registered by the OR's Masters of War, a 44 point win over a weak French Lick team. This being the third season in the OR, and a first time over the .500 mark ever, 1-0, it tasted like, well, chicken. Sweet I say. Now on to the Brochese, who you know will be pissed by last week's loss. Rack'm up!
LeBron's Schottsies bested Wade's Brocheese in a superstar duel during the first week of the season. The game MVP's impressive 1.429 was almost matched by Dwayne's 1.400.
While disappointed at the team's 0-1 start Coach Broham gave props to the Schottsies "We would have prefered to start the season with a win, but this was no slouch of a team. 230 is a serious score this early in the year. LeBron and Shaq combined for 95 points. Two players! 95 points! They're going to be tough to beat when Shaq matches LeBron's intentisity and production."
But he remains confident in this squad "It'll take a few games for Bynum to get back in the swing of things and it looks like Aldridge is going to overtake Marrion as a starter sooner than we had originally anticipated, but we still feel good about our team. Brooks is putting up some nice averages, as is Sessions. We have the talent to make it through the season"
LeBron and Wade meanwhile explained that this was the new level they planned to play at this year, adding that their goal was to "shatter" the Kentucky Fried Scale.
I have a few good guards on my bench as well as some centers. Need a solid number two or three Forward for my team.
